Job Summary**
The Process Technician will support manufacturing operations by monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production processes to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality. This role involves working closely with engineers and production teams to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues.
Job Responsibilities**
* Monitor and control manufacturing processes using various equipment and systems.
* Perform routine checks, maintenance, and calibration of production machinery and tools.
* Identify and troubleshoot process deviations, equipment malfunctions, and product quality issues.
* Implement corrective and preventative actions to maintain process stability and improve output.
* Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and generate reports.
* Collaborate with engineering teams on process development, optimization, and new product introductions.
* Assist in the training of production operators on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
* Document all process changes, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Job Qualifications**
* Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process technician or similar role.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
* Experience with process control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA) and data analysis tools is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
