Mold Setup | Troubleshooting | Uptime & Process Control Leadership
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Process Technician to support overnight injection molding operations. This role is critical to plant performance and requires a technician who can independently set molds, troubleshoot complex process issues, and maintain stable production in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times
Verify proper operation of all safety devices, including drop bars and safety switches
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
Set molds, start up presses, and stabilize injection molding processes
Program, adjust, and troubleshoot automated robotics and auxiliary equipment
Establish, document, and maintain process parameters on Master Setup Sheets
Verify mold protection and process settings meet specifications
Make real-time adjustments to prevent defects and maintain quality standards
Respond quickly to quality, process, and operator concerns
Perform root cause analysis to eliminate recurring defects
Support corrective actions and mold maintenance documentation
Drive scrap reduction through disciplined problem-solving
Partner with Quality and Production to resolve part and process issues
Maximize machine uptime and minimize downtime across all molding cells
Participate in mold change activities to improve changeover efficiency
Monitor production performance and initiate corrective actions when needed
Identify equipment and maintenance concerns and support resolution efforts
Assist with training Process Technicians and Operators as required
Support skill development and best-practice sharing across shifts
Promote consistency in setup and processing standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Support 5S and workplace organization initiatives
Proven mold setting experience (required)
Strong knowledge of resin materials and processing characteristics
Minimum 2+ years of injection molding processing experience (preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Experience with robotics and automation systems
Willingness to stay current with technology through ongoing training
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on night shift
Knowledge of 3-axis programming
Experience with scientific molding principles
Exposure to advanced process control systems
Frequently required to stand and use hands/arms for handling and adjustments
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
3rd Shift – Monday through Friday
$29.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience and performance
$0.50/hour shift differential
