This position is eligible for a $2500 Sign on bonus!Our state of the art Manufacturing facility in Greenlawn NY is seeking a detailed oriented, hard-working team player to join the Product Introduction Facility (PIF) staff.

Key highlights of the role:
This position is on-site, on first shift, and on a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.You will be working in a high-performance, collaborative team environment. This work includes building/modifying special test equipment (STE), performing both mechanical assembly and electrical wiring including cable and harness construction using crimping tools and soldering techniques.
In this role you will be working on first time product builds using engineering drawings and schematics without detailed work instructions. You will work closely with process engineers and assist with the development of work instructions.

Required Skills and Education
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 1+yrs experience working from schematics/engineering drawings to include wire lists.
- Experience building wire harnesses
- Familiar with using small shop tools such as drill press, punch press and similar fabrication tools.
- Solder skills, ability to solder surface mount devices
- Comfortable working under a microscope.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Solder Certified to IPC-610.
- J-STD-001 Certification
- Knowledge of using: crimp tools, DVM
- Rework certified, experience building test fixtures,
- Experience with a mill and lathe all a plus.

Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
