As a Process Quality Engineer (PQE), you will be responsible for Product Quality Review associated with manufacturing process; You will develop an operational Quality plan for manufacturing activities and suggest improvements; You will act as the cell focal point of String Test Quality, driving the cell to meet quality targets in term of Cost of Quality, defects count and QMS compliance.

As a Process Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Cell/Line (Florence/Massa) in establishing and maintaining a high level of quality through effective initiation of Non-Conformity Analysis (NCA), corrective actions, statistical process control, quality plans, workstation audits and overall quality initiatives
• Providing answers to customer’s issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action plan
• Driving the Cell/Line towards defects reduction, characterizing the recurrent causes and the consequent corrective/preventive actions, involving all the impacted functions
• Leading reviews with Center of Excellence (CoE) leaders to monitor Quality programs execution and Quality indicators performance
• Verifying the implementation and the efficiency of the actions, through the subsequent analysis of defects
• Driving Farm-in/Farm-Out suppliers quality: perform qualifications and surveillance audits
• Driving and assuring special and critical processes qualification & control
• Being responsible for Quality Assurance for the Cell, ensuring that all functions are committed to ISO standards
• Guaranteeing the process for Non-Conformity management is correctly applied and that the Non-Conformity Report (eNCR) is appropriately documented

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be fluent in English and Italian (oral and written)
• Have a MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace are preferred) fields with basic experience in Manufacturing, Operations or Production Quality Control
• Have solid working knowledge of quality tools, lean concepts, root cause analysis and be competent in Microsoft Office.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Show teamwork and change agent attitude
