Mars Wrigley- Process Operator: Shipping- Elizabethtown, PAPay: $25.40/hour and $1.50/hour shift premiumThis site manufactures Dove chocolateCurrent Shift Schedule4-Shift Rotation: Rotates between:4th Shift: Week Off3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMWeekday Shifts: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)Weekend Shifts: 12-hour shifts (off every other weekend)Future Shift Schedule:In 2026: Transition from rotating to fixed shifts (specific details still in discussion)Description of Role:Process Operator- Shipping is responsible for, but not limited to, unloading raw materials, packaging, loading tankers, entering information into SAP, and loading and unloading inbound and outbound loads.What are we looking for?Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or equivilent education 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing roleBasic analytical and mathematical skillsHands on experience with SAP or similar computer inventory management softwareProficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)Physical Requirements:Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred Qualifications:4+ years of experience in manufacturingFood or beverage manufacturing experienceMaintenance knowledge or capabilitiesFork lift experienceWhat will be your key responsibilities?Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement.Responsible for the efficient production of quality products.Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team.Conduct temperature checks, complete Critical Control Point (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP) checks daily.Responsible for loading and unloading all inbound and outbound materials received and ensuring all products are entered into SAP correctly.Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks.Responsible for entering truck weights from scale into material movement logbooks.Responsible for filling in when there is an absence of other shipping operators.Monitor and Unloading of Sugar, Corn syrup, Palm Oil, and Cocoa Butter.Any ad hoc requests.Filing all COA’s and bill of ladings for verification and audit purposes.Ensure all waste in shipping department is disposed of in a timely manner. Total RewardsStarting Pay: $24.50/hourShift Differential: $1.50/hourAnnual Bonus and Merit IncreasesBenefits Starting Day One:Medical, Vision, and Dental Up to 6% 401(k) match Vacation time Tuition reimbursement Short/Long-Term Disability 18 weeks parental leave Relocation is not available
