Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $25.35 an hour + $1.50 shift differential
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will set up and operate production equipment for sauce manufacturing while ensuring product quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards on a rotating 6pm to 6am shift schedule.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production equipment related to sauce operations, including kettles, contherms, sanitation equipment, depositor, and freezer.
- Monitor line performance and achieve consistent production and cleanliness standards.
- Instruct and support line workers to ensure proper line operation.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients and materials for the sauce making process.
- Weigh ingredients and prepare batches according to formulas and recipes.
- Combine ingredients using liquefiers and batch tanks to produce finished sauce products.
- Complete accurate production records and maintain inventory tracking systems.
- Return raw materials and finished products to storage areas using inventory systems.
- Perform line and equipment sanitation procedures following company standards.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a safe working environment.
- Comply with plant safety rules and use required personal protective equipment.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Proficiency working with numbers including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and decimals.
- Experience using a calculator, computer systems, printers, and process control equipment.
- Experience completing production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Forklift operation experience and knowledge of battery room procedures.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices.
- Strong teamwork skills with the capability to work with limited supervision.
- Understanding of and commitment to following plant safety rules and procedures.
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
