Job Description

The Process/Maintenance Engineer Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the field of engineering, focusing on process optimization and maintenance strategies within our operations. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers to analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability. This role is crucial in supporting the overall operational goals of the organization, ensuring that equipment and processes run smoothly and effectively. Interns will gain valuable insights into engineering principles and practices while contributing to real-world projects that impact the company's performance. By the end of the internship, candidates will have developed a strong foundation in process engineering and maintenance management, preparing them for future career opportunities in the field.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program in either junior or senior class status
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ideally proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
• Ability to visualize processes and write up processes logically
• Problem-solving skills
• Mechanically and/or Electrically skilled
• Good project management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work without a lot of direction
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Thinks through problems in a logical way and come up with improvement ideas
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position will not offer visa sponsorship
