- Work as a team player with all levels of the organization and contribute to continuously elevating organizational capacity/capability to achieve new levels of performance.
- Analyze manufacturing data and drive data-based product capability assessments and process improvements
- Define and implement improvements in existing process controls and opportunities for new or additional systems.
- Basic engineering package preparation for FEED study of project and HAZOP study.
- Assure process documentation is complete, including, but not limited to process flow diagrams (PFDs) (with material and energy balances), Process and Instrument Drawings (P&IDs) and process descriptions.
- Lead and/or participate in formal, documented process reviews of all new projects.
- Use and support the company’s Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
- Assure process control systems, including interlocks are properly designed, implemented, and regularly verified as required.
- Collaborate with EHS and Quality staff to assure manufacturing processes are safely designed, audited and operated in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Vendor quotation examination and technical review of the proposed offer for plant equipment and
verifying its alignment with the plant requirements
- Support the identification and application of Continuous Improvement cost savings projects.
- Lead process-related projects as appropriate.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving to the manufacturing teams.
- Develop skills so that they are capable of expanded responsibility.
- Issuing condition sheets as per campaign changeover and condition sheet amendment as per process requirement and data study of previous campaigns
- Discussion with U.K. R&T team for ambiguous quality clearances and chronic quality issues which requires research feedback.
- Standardization of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and optimization of plant parameters, recipe reformulation of raw materials to achieve desired product quality
- Pilot plant trials and detailed analysis of any new produced product using lab analytical tools.
- Execution of scale-up and full- scale plant level trial.
- Perform other duties and required.
