Process Engineer

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our manufacturing capabilities. What You’ll Do
As a Process Engineer, you’ll establish, maintain, and continually improve our manufacturing processes and systems. You’ll focus on improving quality, reducing costs, and creating best practices that make our operations stronger and more efficient.
Your day-to-day impact will include:
- Organizing, implementing, and maintaining production processes
- Developing assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process documentation
- Driving continuous improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings
- Performing root cause analysis and corrective actions for process, machine, and programming issues
- Partnering with design engineering on DFX (Design for Cost, Test, Manufacturability, and Assembly)
- Researching and justifying new technologies to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase capacity
- Programming manufacturing and inspection equipment
- Liaising with suppliers to strengthen manufacturing processes
What You Bring
We’re looking for a collaborative problem-solver with strong technical knowledge and a passion for process excellence.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Advanced expertise in PCBA manufacturing and assembly processes
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze trends, and present data clearly
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and process documentation
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years’ relevant process engineering experience
- Technical degree preferred but not required
- Previous experience in an electronic and/or electromechanical manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in ISO-9000, 13485, or AS-9000 environments
- Hands-on experience with PCBA assembly processes and equipment, including programming, setup, and operation OR hands-on experience with cable and box build processes and equipment
