Summary

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to improve manufacturing performance, enhance safety, and drive efficiency across our paperboard operations. You’ll optimize existing processes, introduce new technologies, and support day‑to‑day production success.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

• Improve and design manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs

• Evaluate equipment performance and implement corrective actions

• Conduct quality tests and inspections to ensure product reliability

• Troubleshoot operational issues and drive root‑cause solutions

• Integrate new technologies and sustainability practices into production

• Lead and support department personnel while maintaining strong union/management relationships

• Promote safety and enforce plant policies, including OSHA compliance

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical training

• 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process‑focused role

• Paper mill experience highly preferred

• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and analytical skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment, quality control, and process optimization
