Your future team:

The main purpose of the job as a Process Engineer is to provide leadership and technical expertise to the production, maintenance, environmental, and quality departments through training as well as optimize performance efficiency on the production line(s) using continuous improvement skills, troubleshooting skills, project management skills, and automation programming.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate, then develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process data techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation ensuring compliance with environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Own Process optimization and cost reduction initiatives for sustainable processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve problems related to equipment, methods, materials, operators, measurement, and environment controls.
  • Creates, reviews, modifies, and assists in planning preventative maintenance for equipment in cooperation with Total Preventative Maintenance Supervisor
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes and equipment.
  • Continuous learning with latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies and best practices.
  • Continuous reporting and improvement/development of KPIs.
  • Perform critical process reviews including Risk and Hazard assessments.
  • Implement technology and tool improvements to impact Safety, Quality, Cost targets, and overall equipment effectiveness of the production line.
  • Follows all applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules and Regulations and Security Guidelines.
  • Maintain an up-to-date passport for travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • 5 + years Manufacturing Automation or process engineer experience, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Siemans PLC Programming
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis (e.g., A3, Fishbone, 5 Why, etc.)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience understanding a complex process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving , and analytical skills
