Position Summary
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role will focus on process optimization, continuous improvement, troubleshooting production issues, and driving efficiency, quality, and cost improvements. Experience in plastic injection molding is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve productivity and product quality.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and processing issues to minimize downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Support new product launches, process validations, and equipment implementation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.
- Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Plastic injection molding experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

- Injection molding process development and optimization.

- Automation and manufacturing equipment integration.
- APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other quality system tools.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
