Summary of Primary Functions: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.

  • Complete the full orientation portion of the Tindall Industrial Engineering Training Program, including time in production, QC, field, and support operations.

  • Complete the IE Technical portion of the Tindall Training Program, including process analysis, work design, work measurement, work standards, work plans, routings, and labor performance reporting per Tindall standard practices.

  • Develop and implement process improvement projects, including presentation of findings, recommendations, and results to Senior Management as assigned.

  • Perform work measurement project(s) at one or more Tindall plants and present findings to local management to their satisfaction.

  • Introduce and implement lean principles at assigned Tindall Operations.

  • Participate in the department’s objective to identify and document best practices and standardization opportunities across all Tindall locations.

  • Participate in various continuous improvement and operational excellence projects throughout the business.

  • Perform ad hoc report analysis.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred but not required).

Education: College Degree (4 years): Industrial Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

Experience: Less than 1 year.
