As a Process Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and make a meaningful impact within a supportive and dynamic team.
What You’ll Do:
- Process Optimization: Improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance productivity through blow molding and injection molding process optimization.
- Production Support: Lead and assist technicians in machine setup, production startup, and process monitoring.
- Product Development: Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Production teams on new product development and process validation.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve process deviations, equipment failures, and quality issues; implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute improvements to processes, equipment, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process documentation, SOPs, and best practices.
- Training & Development: Mentor junior engineers and production staff, ensuring adherence to established processes.
- Communication: Align teams on objectives, timelines, and production updates; lead pre-shift meetings on status and maintenance.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc.
- Technical Skills: Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and interpreting technical documentation.
- Soft Skills: Critical thinking, strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit.
Job Requirements:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and kneel as part of daily job duties.
- Safety Compliance: Ability to follow and enforce all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
