Title: Process Engineer

Duties: Prysmian Cables & Systems USA LLC seeks a Process Engineer (multiple openings) in Scottsville, TX to be responsible for initiating, coordinating and implementing manufacturing process improvement initiatives within the Bare Wire and Covered Wire Value Streams. Responsibilities include three primary focus areas: (1) Product/Process Improvements, (2) Daily support for process troubleshooting and product quality, and (3) Development and mentoring of junior level Process Engineers. Other accountabilities include the following integration of Lean Sigma improvement methodologies and activities within the value streams, along with generating and coordinating ideas for process improvement techniques, implementation strategies and ensuring that timely and effective results of the process improvements are accomplished. Ensure the coordination of the resources required to plan, train and implement process improvements.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials/Polymers Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field. 6 years of experience in process driven, continuous manufacturing operations. 5 years of experience in electrical wire and cable. 5 years of experience with process control and new product introduction technologies. 5 years of experience leading high performance work teams. 5 years of experience in project management. 5 years of experience in Lean Sigma Tools implementation. 5 years of experience cultivating relationships and alliances across internal and external boundaries. 5 years of experience critically evaluating, synthesizing, and interrelating information from internal and external sources when solving problems and making decisions.
