Top Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical EngineeringChemical Engineering is preferred

• 5+ years as a process engineer with proven track record of designing, developing & optimizing manufacturing processes

• Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing and coating process issues

  Plusses:

• Solid understanding of chemical & metallurgical principles related to steel processing

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certificationJob Description:

• We are looking for a Process Engineer located here in Louisville, KY, This engineer will be responsible for monitoring and improving processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (i.e., corrosion resistance, coating thickness, adhesion, etc.). They are also responsible for analyzing process data to identify inefficiencies, quality issues, and cost-reduction opportunities, troubleshooting process issues, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and developing process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. It can be expected that this individual will collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and safety teams to improve plant performance, and provide technical support and training to production personnel as needed.
