Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Lompoc, CA (Relocation assistance provided)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process Engineer to provide analytical and process engineering support for all production processes. This role focuses on operational data collection and analysis, process improvement initiatives, and ensuring productivity and cost control. You will monitor and manage operational processes, ensure data integrity, report on improvement trends, and facilitate product development trials.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in daily plant operations, project development, and statistical modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide process engineering support for all production processes.
Collect and analyze operational data to drive process improvement.
Monitor and manage processes to optimize productivity and cost control.
Ensure baseline data integrity and report on improvement trends.
Manage process improvement projects from scoping to validation.
Collaborate with engineering and technical functions for capital projects and process improvements.
Track, analyze, and suggest improvements for plant productivity data (e.g., tons/hour, chemical usage).
Develop and maintain processes for scheduling and prioritizing activities.
Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.

Process Reliability & Stability
Process Model Accuracy
Skills:
Knowledge of continuous systematic processing, ideally in mineral processing equipment and methods.
Ability to process, transfer, and act on analytical and environmental sampling data.
Proficiency in producing block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&ID.
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees and external parties.
Competency in Google suite of products
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00
Benefits: Matching 401(k), Dental, Health, Vision insurance, Paid time off.
Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay.
