**Process Engineer **

1stSHIFT/$80k-$90k/Full-Time

Fort Wayne, IN

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a full cycle glass manufacturing company. They received the raw materials to make the end product, and by the time the product leaves the facility they have fully finished and tempered windshields.

**Requirements: **

• Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical) or any equivalent technical degree

  • Six Sigma certified is preferred

• Experience with manufacturing equipment or assembly lines Solid understanding of Six Sigma, SPC, 5 Why, Pareto and other tools to improve and sustain production levels

• Proven understanding of tools, quality of products and ability to implement improvements to operations

• Years of Experience: 3+ years’ in a Manufacturing Environment preferred PLC experience preferred

• Fluent in use of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)

Responsibilites:

• Engineering of assigned area of glass fabrication
• Manage process related tooling in preparation for each production run
• Trouble-shoot line operators
• Issue and revise drawing and process sheets as a result of continuous improvement in the process
• Develop and implement continuous improvement in capability and/or scrap reduction
• Verify conformance of components to customer specifications
• Analyse weekly production results, identify deficiencies and implement the necessary improvements
