What You’ll Do:
Become a process expert for the FGR Coating and Mixing Teams, strongly contributing to your team to safely reach the departmental goals
Be a root cause problem solver with/for the team
Evaluate and optimize existing methods, processes, workflows, and equipment to find improvement prospects mainly in the areas of quality, uptime, and cost.- Includes time studies, trend building, correlations, histograms…
Identify effective improvements and solutions, both grassroots and technological in nature
Lead the resulting project(s) through the processes of design, approval (cost and safety), implementation and validation
Work cross functionally with other departments, other engineers, vendors, and management for larger projects
Develop supporting technical documentation such as procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, P&IDS, reports etc.
Train team members on new equipment and processes
