Senior Processing Engineer – Cold Forming | Global Automotive Manufacturing

DirectPath Recruiting Services is partnering with a global automotive manufacturer seeking a Senior Processing Engineer with strong expertise in Cold Forming and metal forming operations.

This is a highly visible engineering leadership role supporting global manufacturing facilities while driving process innovation, tooling design, capital equipment projects, and operational improvements across multiple plants.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $100K – $130K

• 15% annual bonus opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cold forming process engineering initiatives across multiple facilities

• Drive manufacturing process improvements, tooling optimization, and best practices

• Manage capital equipment projects from concept through startup and runoff

• Support product launches, process capability analysis, and capacity planning

• Partner closely with plant leadership to improve operational performance

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing DMAIC, 8D, SPC, and data-driven problem solving

What They’re Looking For:

✔ 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive or metal forming environments

✔ Strong hands-on experience with cold forming processes

✔ Background in tooling design and capital project execution

✔ Experience with CAD/CAE platforms, SAP, Minitab, and SPC systems

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field
