Summary
Die Cast Process Tech will master troubleshooting and repairs on advanced Die Cast equipment. Checks parts for conformance to specifications after any adjustments are made to ensure product quality.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
(but not limited to…)
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability & statistical inference, & fundamentals of plane, algebra, solid geometry, and trigonometry.
Read the gauges for surface finish, angles, radius, thickness, and contours of parts.
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as megatronics, engineering, robotics, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Skills:
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from production associates to senior leaders.
- Ability to function as a team player, and be comfortable leading without authority.
- Ability to build credibility and trust.
- Ability to influence leaders, and change their paradigms.
- Must be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Minitab statistical analysis software.
