Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs, with a strong focus on integrating automation technologies such as robotics and co-bots (collaborative robots).

  • Conduct process simulations and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, leveraging advanced analytics such as Six Sigma tools to predict and mitigate potential issues.

  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams, particularly focusing on working with maintenance and repair teams to ensure seamless operations. This includes coordinating on equipment repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Work collaboratively on equipment repairs, providing support and expertise to maintenance teams rather than troubleshooting directly. Facilitate effective communication and teamwork to address and resolve process-related issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, ensuring they are up-to-date and reflect the latest best practices and technological advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, integrating safety protocols into automated systems and co-bot operations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to lean manufacturing projects and driving innovation through the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
