Job Description

We are looking for someone who would like to learn to operate printing presses/collating (sorting) machines for a growing Butler, PA printer. This company is NOT in the newspaper industry and has stable long-term business.

Printing experience is helpful but not required. This is the opportunity to learn a trade and grow into other roles. Looking for someone with a consistent work history, preferably manufacturing or printing and mechanical skills, who is ready to commit to a long term job and training.

Must be able to:

• Make calculations on the machine, perform adjustments.

• Must be able to read work orders and understand what machine parts, and materials are needed to run a job.

• The printing machines need to be changed over which requires the ability to lift upwards of 50 to 75 pounds frequently during the course of the shift.

Press Operators may also be trained to work in the warehouse where they use a crane to load rolls of paper on the presses.

$18.00 an hour to start with increase based on performance. Weekly work schedule of Monday- Friday 7am- 3pm. NO weekends. This company offers pay raises, health insurance, paid time off, and paid Holidays.

You should be proficient in:
