We are looking for a detail oriented, enthusiastic, and motivated person to be 2nd shift Team Lead for print Operations. The Team Lead will work closely with Operations Leadership to help coach and lead the 2nd shift team. This person will be a solution-oriented person who will take the initiative to deliver high quality products and services.

Job Summary and Job Functions 

  • Work closely with Ops Leadership team to create priority for all of 2nd shift
  • Oversee and provide clear direction to the team
  • Assist with daily backlog execution – Ship Todays
  • Oversee fabrication and kit pack projects
  • Ensure daily and job metrics are 100% complete and accurate
  • Execution of RTO for 2nd Shift
  • Identify, prioritize and complete daily tasks to meet business and operational deadlines
  • Drive all safety initiatives through leading by example and training
  • Help administer cross training and use the skill matrix to make decisions that help achieve both short and long-term labor goals for operations
  • Preparing materials for shipment within proper guidelines
  • Utilizing various shipping software to accurately process shipments

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Heavy work. Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Repetitive motion, Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers 
  • Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time
  • Feeling, Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
  • Visual acuity to determine the accuracy and quality of printed parts
  • Subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level
  • Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
