The Naval and Land Based Radar Systems (NLBRS) Department within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate is searching for a senior level Radar Integrator to support the SPY-6 program. Radar Integrators are responsible for interconnecting subsystems, identifying and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies, and providing support to Raytheon and Government testing. This Principal Systems Engineer role can be either based out of Massachusetts (Tewksbury or Marlborough) but will require a minimum one (1) year assignment at the Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Shipyard in Pascagoula Mississippi, or based out of Pascagoula, MS on a permanent basis. The role will require extended hours and may require the employee to support off-shift hours.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Support system level radar integration planning, execution, and reporting
• Prepare plan, procedures, and integration information sheets (IISs)
• Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  

Qualification You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree (Masters) with 6 years of prior experience. Relevant experience includes Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation experience for Department of Defense systems
• Background in integration and test methods, processes and development of integration and test plans and procedures
• Experience with radar systems integration
• Experience with programming in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or other programming language

Qualifications We Value:

• Experience working in a shipyard environment
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
• Experience with DOORS or a related database
• Background in Naval Combat System concept of operations
• Understanding of software development collaboration tools (Clearcase, SharePoint)
• Experience in troubleshooting radar systems, root cause identification, corrective action implementation and associated documentation
