Job Description:

Parsons is searching for a Senior Program Manager to provide direct support to a large classified Air Force program. The responsibilities include leading a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to achieve program objectives on time and budget. The Senior Program Manager will be the key interface to the program management office (PMO) for a program of record (POR) contract.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed team of Hardware Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Logisticians, and Field Support Engineers to achieve program objectives

  • Oversee the creation and delivery of a wide array of contract deliverables including hardware systems, software products, and documentation

  • Manage cost, schedule, and performance for a diverse set of tasks being performed by staff from multiple technical and non-technical disciplines

  • Communicates program roadmaps, schedules, and risk to customer and program management office (PMO)

  • Perform sub-contractors and supplier coordination to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services

  • Establish program performance monitoring through metrics and KPIs to measure program success and identify areas for improvement

  • Provide functional management of team including mentorship, performance reviews, conflict resolutions, goal-setting, etc.

  • Works closely with our Parsons Business Development Growth teams to identify growth opportunities

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience managing large DoD contracts ($20M+) and achieving program success

  • Experience managing multiple sub-contractors across multiple companies (large and small businesses)

  • Experience managing DoD contracts with $5-10M+ of government furnished equipment (GFE)

  • Excellent organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with operational SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), and/or Cyber Systems supporting the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense

  • Experience with leading classified RDT&E contracts in a multi-level security environment

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, computer science or related discipline

  • Must have 10+ years of relevant Program Management experience

  • Proof of US Citizenship is required

  • Must have active TS SCI eligible

  • Experience managing USAF contracts and PORs

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in engineering, engineering management, computer science or related discipline

  • PMP or equivalent certifications

Salary Range:

$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
