We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Master Production Scheduler to lead and manage our production scheduling process. This role is critical to ensuring that our operations run smoothly on time, and in alignment with customer demand and material availability.
The Master Production Scheduler will collaborate closely with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Sales, and Engineering to build and maintain an executable master production schedule.
This position will be located onsite in Durham, NH but will be required to travel to Hampton, NH weekly and Gloucester, MA monthly as business needs dictate. May need to travel annually for training as needed.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain a master production schedule that aligns with demand, capacity constraints, and inventory targets
Monitor and adjust schedules in response to production delays, material shortages, or changes in customer demand
Collaborate with planning, purchasing, and production to ensure alignment between the schedule and execution plans
Analyze capacity and resource availability to identify potential bottlenecks or risks
Own MPS (Master Production Schedule)
Gather SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) data
Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems; ensure data integrity
Communicate schedule status, changes, and priorities to key stakeholders across departments
Leadership position within a planning team

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management
Deep understanding of MRP/ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and experience to identify and correct issues
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP)
Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Aerospace/ defense experience
