Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pressman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing processes, particularly Sheetfed offset printing, and will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent color management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing presses to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
• Set up jobs by preparing screens, inks, and substrates according to specifications.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure adherence to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
• Collaborate with team members to fabricate components as needed for various projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating machinery such as forklifts and CNC equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards of excellence.

Skills

• Proficiency in Sheetfed offset printing techniques and processes.
• Experience with Heidelberg XL series Presses a plus, but not a must.
• Familiarity with LED/UV and non-porous substrates, but not a must.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control measures.
• Knowledge of G7 principles and practices a plus, but not a must.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
