Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing daily stamping operations, ensuring production, quality, safety, and performance targets are met. (Crew Shift Pattern 6pm to 6 am)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise stamping associates, including scheduling, performance management, discipline, and payroll input
- Plan and prioritize daily production based on orders, equipment availability, and inventory levels
- Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions to meet operational targets
- Minimize downtime by partnering with maintenance and resolving root causes
- Ensure accurate reporting of production, scrap, labor, and downtime data
- Maintain a safe work environment, including training, compliance, and incident investigation
- Oversee quality standards, audits, and adherence to work instructions
- Identify training needs and support employee development
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering on layout and process optimization
- Support 5S and overall workplace organization standards
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, including supervisory experience
- Knowledge of machinery, stamping operations, and lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with quality and environmental standards, and workplace regulations
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
