Position Summary:

CHS's client is seeking a dependable Press Operator for 2nd shift. This individual will be responsible for setting up and adjusting dies, operating presses to meet production specifications, and ensuring jobs run safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety and environmental policies.

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday

-2nd Shift- 3PM-11:30PM

-3rd Shift- 11PM- 7:30AM

**Will need to train on daylight (7a-3:30p for at least 2weeks)

Pay: $18.00/hour, plus $1/hour shift differential

What You’ll Do:

• Remove dies from completed jobs and clean presses for new setups

• Set up dies for new jobs and adjust machines to meet required specifications

• Quickfire presses and calculate specifications as needed for new jobs

• Make necessary adjustments to both new and existing jobs to maintain production within specification

• Mic, weigh, and unload presses as needed to keep production operating efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or press operation environment preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments

• Ability to follow detailed specifications and safety guidelines

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
