Press Operator (Plastic) Job Summary:

A family business with family values is looking for a Plastic Press Operator to join their team. This company has become a trusted leader in the electrical products industry manufacturing PVC-coated conduit and fittings.

Press Operator (Plastic) Requirements:

• Start, monitor, and adjust molding presses according to standard work instructions and job packets
• Ensure material hoppers are filled with the correct plastic pellets or powders

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts using tools like calipers or gauges

Identify defects such as flash, warpage, or short shots, and alert supervisors or process technicians if processes go out of specification.

• Trim, clip, or deburr excess plastic (sprues/runners) from the molded parts. Perform light assembly when required

Schedule:

• 2nd shift; 3:00pm-11:00pm- Monday-Friday, some overtime as required
• 3rd shift; 11:00pm-7:00am- Sunday-Thursday, some overtime as required

Pay: $23.50/hr + $0.75 Premium

Press Operator (Plastic) Qualifications:

• Basic math and measurement skills, with the ability to read and understand blueprints and written job instructions
• Ability to stand and walk for long shifts
• Lift or carry materials up to 50lbs
• Able to stack product up to 6 feet high on pallets
• High School or GED
