Press Operator - Metals (1st Shift)

As a Press Operator you will be processing aluminum blocks through presses.  Manager aluminum block warehouse.  Transport aluminum materials to and from warehouse, saws and sheeting room using forklift truck. 

Currently there is an opening for a Press Operator in our Metals division on 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:30a - 2:30p.)

Metals Press Operator: Starting at $20.29 per hour on 1st Shift!

Key Responsibilities:

• Properly load and unload presses.
• Set up aluminum plates for sheeters. 
• Separate block from plates using forklift trucks.
• Make labels for blocks and properly label blocks. 
• Receive new blocks into computer inventory. 
• Determine materials to be used and transfer materials in computer.
• Retrieve materials from warehouse and stage to saws. 
• Retrieve unused materials from saws and return to inventory. 
• Audit warehouse materials by location. 
• Assist other departments as necessary. 
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful
• Participate in improving our product, process, equipment, and methods. 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. 
• Continually looking for ways to improve job efficiency and performance
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work overtime

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
