We are hiring Press Operators for a large automotive manufacturing facility in Howell, MI. This position involves operating metal stamping presses, loading coils, monitoring production, inspecting parts, and helping keep the press line running efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, machine operation, or metal stamping experience who is mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automotive metal stamping press lines
• Load metal coils and assist with coil changes
• Run and inspect first parts
• Monitor presses and keep production running
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Inspect finished parts for quality and defects
• Assist team leaders as needed
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Work as part of a production team

Qualifications

• Previous press operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Metal stamping experience is a strong plus
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable operating production machinery
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime
• Must be available to work every other weekend

The actual position has 40–56 hour weeks, every-other-weekend requirements, and involves line operation, troubleshooting, coil loading, first-part runs and quality checking.
