***Basic Function

Responsible for the set up and operation of production department presses.

***Responsibilities

1. Sets up stamping and forming press dies so that the manufactured parts conform to customer specifications.
2. *Operates stamping press. *
3. Measures first article for conformance to specification.
4. Measures and records key characteristics.
5. Maintains components of all processes.
6. Collects and records necessary data.
7. Keeps work area clean & free of debris.
8. Complies with company policies & procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
