We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production and be proficient in operating various printing presses. The Press Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality print materials while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
• Set up press equipment according to job specifications, including adjustments for ink, color, and paper type.
• Monitor the printing process for quality control, making adjustments as needed to meet production standards.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and clients to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process, implementing solutions promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating various types of press equipment, including screen printing and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for design adjustments and color management.
• Strong understanding of typography principles and print advertising standards.
• Experience with machining processes is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.
