Previous printing press experience is required:
- Flexographic printing – printing film and/or paper
Meets and exceeds machine production goals while ensuring consistent, high-quality press output.
Oversees all press operations, including setup, production, and quality control of printed materials.
Directs and trains press assistants, preparing them to run the press independently with minimal supervision.
Manages complete job setup: plates, sleeves, ink matching, make-ready, anilox rollers, and film verification.
Ensures print quality by monitoring copy accuracy, UPC codes, registration, and impressions.
Maintains accurate production records, applies roll tickets/weights, and returns materials to proper storage.
Reports damaged or worn plates to shift leadership for timely replacement.
Proficient in web monitoring systems and thoroughly understands the make-ready process sequence.
