Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and reliable Press Operator to support production operations at their facility in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate stamping press machines according to production requirements

• Perform die changes, machine setups, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

• Monitor press operations and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers

• Troubleshoot minor equipment and tooling issues during production

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and setup instructions

• Maintain production records and perform basic preventive maintenance

• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2+ years of experience operating and setting up stamping presses in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical presses

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

• Metal stamping or fabrication experience preferred

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices preferred

You should be proficient in:

• Metal Stamping & Forming (Progressive Die)
