We are seeking an experienced **Press Brake Machine Operator

Responsibilities

  • **Set up and operate press brakes

    ** to fabricate sheet metal components to exact specifications.

  • **Perform CNC machine setup and changeovers

  • **Read and interpret blueprints

    **, templates, and technical drawings to ensure accurate layout and fabrication.

  • Plan the sequence of operations using knowledge of metal properties and bending characteristics.

  • Operate additional fabrication equipment including notchers, rolls, hardware machines, and RAS panel benders (CNC).

  • Conduct routine hydraulic system maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments.

  • Monitor production quality and make necessary corrections to maintain tight tolerances.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve workflow, efficiency, and safety.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant work environment.

  • Flex to other production areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role.

  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, hydraulic components, and mechanical systems.

  • Proficiency in CNC setup, tooling selection, and machine adjustments.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bend deduction charts, and fabrication drawings.

  • Experience with hydraulic press brakes required; RAS panel bender experience a plus.

  • Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication processes, and basic hand tools.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor.

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs or more as needed.

  • Average manual dexterity and ability to handle small tools and components.
