Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake and shear machines according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired tolerances and finishes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

Technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
Proven experience operating press brakes and shears in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
