We are currently looking for a Press Brake Set-Up Operator for our 1st shift to join our Coon Rapids, MN location. If you have experience with set-ups and operating a Cincinnati Machine, this is the role for you! Hours are Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm and Friday 6am-10am.

Responsibilities

• Operates power press, power brake, apron brake, or other press brake machines according to specifications. (Amada, Cincinnati, or LVD press brake machines)
• Knowledge of Set-ups.
• Knowledge of bend allowances and how to achieve them.
• Knowledge of press brake tooling.
• Installs, aligns, and secures gears, holding fixtures, and dies to machine bed, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
• Select and position flat, block, radius, or special-purpose die sets into the ram and bed of the machine, using a hoist, crane, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
• Quickly and efficiently completing jobs with very few rejects.
• Must be willing to flex into other areas such as assembly, packaging, and paint prep to help the overall production goals of the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 5 years of Press Brake experience 
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading pieces into the machine, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
