In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining brake press machinery to produce high-quality metal components. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on brake press equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of brake press operations and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
