Press Brake Operator Qualifications:
- 1 + Years of Press brake, Manual/CNC Machine Set Up, Plate Bending, Metal Fab/Forming, or Related MFG experience required
- 3 + Years of CNC, Manual Machining, Hydraulic Press brake, or Sheet Metal/Plate Fab experience preferred
- Ability to Read Blueprints/Fab. Drawings/Layouts, Tape Measures (1/16”) required
- Basic Shop Math required
- Experience with Tooling, Bend Setups, Clearances, and Material Handling preferred
- Experience producing Custom Metal Parts Bends, Channels, Cylinders, Formed Shapes preferred, Welding or general fabrication experience is a plus

Responsibilities of Press Brake Operator:
- This role involves setting up and operating CNC press brakes, hydraulic presses, plate rolls, and other fabrication equipment in a custom metal manufacturing job shop
- Responsibilities include reading blueprints and mechanical drawings, setting up tooling, bending and forming metal, checking measurements, making machine adjustments, and supporting daily production
- Additional duties include quality inspections, material handling, deburring, grinding, layout work, and general shop support
- Work may involve forming and fabricating sheet metal, plate steel, and custom metal parts using press brakes, plate rolls, grinders, and hydraulic equipment while working with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel plate ranging from 16 gauge to 1” thick including bends, cylinders, and custom formed parts
- Other duties as assigned
