Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator in Portland, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to create precision metal components. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for manufacturing, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
