This manufacturing position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision measuring instruments and operating machinery. As a machine operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for operating machinery to cut and shape materials according to specifications provided in shop drawings.

Job Duties

Set up and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Operate machinery to cut and shape materials according to shop drawings.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
To perform other duties as required from time to time as requested

Qualifications

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Follow all company rules and policies.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to listen, read, write and communicate effectively.
Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Minimizes material waste by best practice utilization
Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order
Communicate with Management regarding any parts/machine discrepancies, which need to be rectified immediately
Clocks each job in and out using computer system
Keep workshop area including floor clean and tidy and in a safe working condition
Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use
