Press Brake Operator

This manufacturing position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision measuring instruments and operating machinery. As a machine operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for operating machinery to cut and shape materials according to specifications provided in shop drawings.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Operate machinery to cut and shape materials according to shop drawings.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- To perform other duties as required from time to time as requested

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to listen, read, write and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Minimizes material waste by best practice utilization
- Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order
- Communicate with Management regarding any parts/machine discrepancies, which need to be rectified immediately
- Clocks each job in and out using computer system
- Keep workshop area including floor clean and tidy and in a safe working condition
- Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use
