REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a
Press Brake Operator
in a sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. independently
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- CNC press brake experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts.
- Read blueprints and verify finished parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate production updates to the next shift or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming and understanding of blueprint reading with GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed work instructions.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and setting machine parameters.
- Experience with hand tools, tooling setup, welding techniques, assembly procedures, and safety protocols related to machining operations.
- Certifications in forklift operation or crane handling are preferred but not mandatory.
