Press Brake Operator

Location: Grand Junction, CO
Pay: $18.00- $23.00 (DOE)

Job Summary

Jennmar Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Grand Junction, CO. This position is responsible for independently setting up and operating CNC and manual press brake machines to fabricate precision sheet metal components. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, excellent mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Select appropriate tooling and perform machine setups and adjustments.
• Bend and form sheet metal components to precise specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of press brake or metal fabrication experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC press brake programming and setup experience.
• Sheet metal fabrication in a production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Quality control and inspection experience.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
