Job Overview
Weller Metalworks is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for our 2nd shift.
This role requires the ability to independently read and interpret blueprints and
operate press brake machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This
position is not entry-level and does not include training from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Press Brake machines, including tooling and dies
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet job
specifications
Process, form, and measure metal components to exact customer requirements
Use measuring tools accurately (tape measure, calipers, gauges)
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
Maintain a zero-defect mentality and strong attention to quality
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Communicate issues or defects to supervisors in a timely manner
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Proven experience operating a Press Brake in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is REQUIRED
Strong measuring skills and basic math (fractions & decimals)
Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
Ability to bend, twist, reach, and walk throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

GD&T experience
Forklift experience
Experience in metal fabrication environments
