**Press Brake Operator **

**Day Shift (Weekdays & Weekends) **

Knightstown, IN

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup and production specifications.

• Set up press brake machines by installing and aligning dies, punches, and back gauges.

• Operate press brake machinery to perform bending and forming operations on metal sheets and components.

• Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications.

• Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain tolerances and quality throughout production runs.

• Maintain equipment by performing routine preventive maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues.

• Monitor inventory of raw materials and tools, and report shortages to supervisors.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure production goals are met.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience operating press brake machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and forming characteristics.

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

• Quality Inspection Experience
• Blueprint Reading
