NW Industrial Staffingis currently seeking aPress Brake Operatoron aSwing shiftfor a service-oriented, single-source steel fabrication facility in Eugene, Oregon, that prides itself on its quality, efficiency, and proficiency. This is a great opportunity for an operator to take their skills to the next level of fabrication.

What we are seeking:

• 2+ years of press brake operation on mild or carbon steel.
• Previous experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience inspecting fabricated parts using calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges to ensure they meet exact tolerances using calipers and micrometers.
• Setting up and running hydraulic press brakes to form mild steel components.
• Ability to select and install appropriate punches and dies. Adjust tonnage, ram stroke, and back-gauge settings.
• Strong familiarity and understanding of the bend allowances, spring-back, and tensile properties of mild steel.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, push, and pull for an 10-hour shift.
• Previous experience working independently.
• Can communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Be safety conscious.
• Have great attendance, punctuality, and work ethic.

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Eugene, OR
• Shift: Swing
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday
• Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Pay: $20/h to $24/h (DOE) + $1.25/h (shift differential)
